The feeling of disappearing when I start to lay out the colors in my paintings is complete freedom and excitement.  I feel completely absorbed into the colors and strokes. The energy I feel is sometimes overwhelming, but at the same time, when I feel the paint between my fingers, is calming as well. I get inspiration from nature and the universe. It's all full of extraordinary color as far as the eye can see.

I always paint as if they were for me.  I've always thought that homes should be full of color and life and it should give you the feeling of excitement and pleasure that sometimes is missing.
